Juanita Glisson Rubley

Juanita G. Rubley, 89, died Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Savannah Square Retirement Community.
She was born in Excelsior, Ga. and was a long time resident of Savannah. She was retired from a long career as a Federal Civil Servant at what is now Hunter Army Airfield as Transportation Officer. She was a member of Ardsley Park Baptist Church.
Surviving are: son, Patrick C. Glisson of Atlanta; daughter, Dale Phillips of Coralville, Iowa; grandchildren, Patrick A. Glisson of Auburn, AL; Paige G. Herrin of Columbia, S.C.; Charles Ryan Glisson of Cumming, GA; and Danielle Phillips of Coralville, Iowa; great-grandchildren, Calvin and Annabelle Glisson of Auburn, AL; Ellie, Tyler, and Avery Herrin of Cumming, GA; brother, Jack H. Everett of Savannah; and sister, Madge Houseman of Savannah.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 7, 2008 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Fox and Week Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Ardsley Park Baptist Church.
